Integrated at Work delivered a refresh of an existing architectural glass system at a key staircase and floor landing. Rather than replace the system entirely, the project focused on preserving and enhancing the existing elements through targeted modifications, refinishing, and selective replacement.

Scope

Integrated at Work managed the removal, refurbishment, modification, and reinstallation of the existing glass guardrail system and related architectural components including:

• Removing, repainting existing standoffs in black, and reinstalling them with the existing glass
• Replacing select glass panels and resealing all joints
• Reworking and extending handrails and brackets
• Modifying and extending the glass guardrail at the floor landing
• Completed installation partnering with union installer Vitrum Exteriors

The refreshed staircase and landing have a cohesive, updated appearance while retaining the majority of the existing architectural components. By combining selective replacement with precise modifications and refinishing, Integrated at Work helped the client achieve a renewed look and improved functionality without the scope and disruption of a full system replacement.
